2009-2010
Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine). The maintenance information (the wrench symbol and distance to change a maintenance item) comes on for about 5 seconds and then turns off.
Push the trip computer mode switch A for 3 seconds while the wrench symbol and maintenance information are displayed. The symbol and distance display will start flashing and the display shows the current interval (ie. 5000KM).
Push the switch A to increase the interval distance. Each step increases the interval by 1000km. The interval distance can be set up to 30000km after the display returns to 0.
If no further action is made, the display returns to the previous mode and the new interval is set. If the interval distance is set to 0, the display will skip the maintenance information when the ignition is placed in run or start mode.
2008-2009
Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
Press the vehicle information display INFO button located on the isntrument panel to toggel to “Setting”.
In the “Setting” mode screen rotate the INFO button to move to “Maintenance” and press INFO to select the menu.
Set a desired interval by rotating the INFO button to highlight ENGINE OIL and then press the INFO button to select.
Select RESET and select new time or distance.
Repeat step 3 for ENGINE OIL FILTER. Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
2007-2010
Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine/push START/STOP button once).
Press the (square) button, located on the instrument panel just behind the steering wheel to the left, to display the SETTINGS mode.
In the setting mode screen press (circle) button to move to MAINTENANCE.
Set a desired interval by pushing (circle) button to highlight ENGINE OIL and pressing (square) button. The reset mode will open up and allow you to enter the desired distance.
Select RESET and select new time or distance.
Repeat step 3 for ENGINE OIL FILTER. Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
2005-2006
Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
Bring up the odometer reading using the ODO/TRIP knob then the turn ignition off.
Hold down ODO/TRIP knob while turning the ignition key to the run position (one position before starting engine).
Hold down the knob until the light goes off. Before the light goes off, it illuminates
3 seconds, flashes for 2 seconds and illuminates for 1 second. If the system fails to reset, the light will remain flashing. In this case, return to step 1 and try again.
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
2007
Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
Bring up the odometer reading using the ODO/TRIP knob then the turn ignition off.
Hold down ODO/TRIP knob while turning the ignition key to the run position (one position before starting engine) for longer than 7 seconds. While doing this operation, the “engine oil replacement” reminder light goes off. If the system fails to reset, the light will remain flashing. In this case, return to step 1 and try again.
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
2008-2010
Turn the engine on by holding the START/STOP switch. Use the trip meter switch to bring up the trip meter A reading. Turn the ignition off.
While pressing the trip meter reset button, set the engine switch to run (push START/ STOP button once) and continue to press and hold the knob until the multi information display indicates that the reset is complete.
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
