2004

Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
Press the TRIP button so the OIL LIFE % is displayed.
Press RESET and hold for 2 seconds. OIL LIFE REMAINING 100% will appear.
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

2005-2009

Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
Press the up or down arrow to scroll the DIC to show OIL LIFE.
Once the XXX% ENGINE OIL LIFE menu item is highlighted, press and hold the RESET button until the percentage shows 100%.
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

1991-1992

Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
Press RANGE and FUEL USED simultaneously to display oil life index.
Press RANGE and RESET simultaneously until the CHANGE OIL SOON light flashes (hold about 5 seconds).

The oil life index will not remain displayed.
Turn the ignition to off and start engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

1993

Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
Reset the Engine Oil Life Index by pressing the RANGE and RESET keys on the Fuel Data Centre for 5 to 60 seconds.
Release the keys. The indicator will automatically reset to 100. The CHANGE OIL SOON light will flash 4 times to indicate it has been reset to 100.
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

1994-1996

Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
Press the INFORMATION button several times until OIL LIFE INDEX message appears.
Press and hold the RESET button until the display resets to 100.
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

1997-1998

Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
Press the TRIP button on the DIC switch repeatedly until OIL LIFE REMAINING displays.
Press and hold the RESET button on the DIC switch for more than 5 seconds. The oil life will change to 100%.
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

1999

Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
Press the SKIP INFO button on the DIC control panel in order to display the OIL LIFE LEFT message.
Press and hold the RESET button until the display shows 100% ENGINGE OIL LIFE.
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

2000

Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
Press the INFO button on the DIC to display ENGINE OIL LIFE.
Press and hold the INFO RESET button on the DIC until the display reads 100% ENGINE OIL LIFE.
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

2000

Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
Press the INFO button on the DIC to display ENGINE OIL LIFE.
Press and hold the INFO RESET button on the DIC until the display reads 100% ENGINE OIL LIFE.
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

2001-2004

Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
Display the Oil Life message by pressing the INFO button.
Press and hold the RESET button until the display shows 100% Engine Oil Life.
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

2005

Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
Press the INFO button on the DIC to display ENGINE OIL LIFE.
Press and hold the INFO RESET button on the DIC until the display reads 100% ENGINE OIL LIFE.
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

The Service Reminder Indicator (SRI) is fitted to all 2000 EuroVans It stores two sets of information: Oil Change and Inspection Service. Here is the method to manually reset the SRI after performing a service:

Switch ignition OFF.
Press and hold down the trip odometer reset button (at the lower right of the instrument cluster).
Switch ignition ON and release the trip odometer reset button. It is not necessary to start the engine; merely turn the key until the ignition is ON.
The trip mileage area now displays “Service OIL”.
If trip odometer reset button is now pressed again, the display turns to “Service INSP”. Pressing the button again will cycle the display back to “Service OIL”.
When the reminder that needs to be reset (either OIL or INSP) is displayed, turn button for setting the clock (at lower left of instrument cluster) to the right. The display changes to “Service —-“. That reminder is now reset.
The second reminder is unaffected unless it is displayed by pressing trip odometer reset button and the clock button is turned right again.
Switch ignition OFF and back ON to resume normal display.

Page 52 of the Owner’s Manual gives the answer to this:

1. Switch off the ignition and press the reset knob of the trip counter below the speedometer and hold.

2. Switch on the ignition and release the reset button, one of the service events appear in the display.

3. It is possible to switch between the the readouts of the service events by briefly pressing the reset button.

4. When the particular service event is displayed, turn the button for setting the digital clock to the right, “service—” appears in the display.

5. Switch off the ignition. Only now is the service event reset.
