2004-2006
Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
Bring up the odometer reading using the trip meter reset knob then the turn ignition off.
Hold down the trip meter reset knob while turning the ignition key to the run position (one position before starting engine).
Hold down the button for 5 seconds or more. The odometer indicates “000000” and the light goes off.
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
2007
Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine). Use the trip meter switch to bring up the trip meter A reading. Turn the ignition off.
While pressing the trip meter reset button, set the engine switch to run (one position before starting engine) and continue to press and hold the knob until the trip meter displays ě000000î.
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
2008-2010
Turn the ignition to run (push START/STOP button once). Use the trip meter switch to bring up the trip meter A reading. Turn the ignition off.
While pressing the trip meter reset button, set the engine switch to run (push START/ STOP button once) and continue to press and hold the knob until the trip meter displays ě000000î.
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

Continue holding the button until the indicator resets (indicator light goes out).

Press the TRIP button until the engine oil life indicator is displayed.

Press the TRIP button for more than 5 seconds. The maintenance items code(s) will disappear, and the engine oil life will reset to “100”.
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

Turn off the engine.
Press and hold the SELECT/RESET button in the instrument panel and turn the ignition switch to run (one position before starting).

Reset the coloured indicator by inserting your key in the slot beside the indicator.

2010
Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
If the engine oil life is not displayed, press the SEL/RESET button on the steering wheel repeatedly until it is.
Press and hold the SEL/RESET button for more than 10 seconds. The remaining engine oil life reset mode will be shown on the multi information display.
Select RESET by pressing the INFO (▲/▼) button, then press the SEL/RESET button to reset the engine oil life display. The maintenance item code(s) will disappear, and the engine oil life will reset to 100.
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
*Models equipped with the keyless access system have an engine start/stop button instead of an switch. ON Mode is equivalent of ignition (II).
