Switch ignition ON.
Press INFO button until service information is displayed.
Press and hold buttons [A] and [B] for at least 9 seconds.
The service time and distance will be reset.
Switch ignition OFF.

2. With ignition ‘OFF’ press and hold both arrow buttons, turn ignition on.
3. Release buttons after 3 seconds – the reset reminder should be flashing.
4. Press and hold set button for approx 3 seconds or until beep.
5. If you need to reset oil service – Press and hold set button again for approx 3 seconds or until beep. ‘Service Reset No Items’ should show.

A light illuminates on the control panel when the internal system determines it is time for an oil change. Most Jeep mechanics reset the oil light as part of the oil change service. If you change the oil in your Jeep yourself, you can manually reset the oil light. Resetting the oil light after an oil change allows the system to accurately track the time until the next oil change is needed. The procedures described in this article apply to 2010 Jeep models.
Instructions
1.Turn the ignition switch to the “ON” position. Do not start the engine.
2.Press the accelerator pedal completely to the floor slowly three times within a 10-second span.
3.Turn the ignition switch to the “OFF” position.
4.Turn the ignition switch to the “ON” position again. The oil light should be off. If the oil light is still illuminated, repeat the previous steps.

Engine Oil Change Indicator System
Oil Change Required
Your vehicle is equipped with an engine oil change
indicator system. The “Oil Change Required” message
will flash in the EVIC display for approximately 10
seconds after a single chime has sounded to indicate the
next scheduled oil change interval. The engine oil change
indicator system is duty cycle based, which means the
engine oil change interval may fluctuate dependent upon
your personal driving style.
Unless reset, this message will continue to display each
time you turn the ignition switch to the ON/RUN
position. To turn off the message temporarily, press and
release the MENU button. To reset the oil change indicator
system (after performing the scheduled maintenance)
refer to the following procedure.
1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position (Do not
start the engine).
2. Fully depress the accelerator pedal slowly three times
within 10 seconds.
3. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF/LOCK position.
NOTE: If the indicator message illuminates when you
start the vehicle, the oil change indicator system did not
reset. If necessary repeat this procedure.
