1. switch ignition OFF,
2. press & hold trip reset stalk (instrument cluster)
3. Switch ignition ON
4. keep pressed for 10 secs,
Display will now read 0 and ‘spanner’ symbol will go out

Service light on my Renault Megane Scenic
The procedure for the Mégane II (2002-2006, pre-facelift model) is:
Scroll through the trip computer until you get to the “change oil soon message/miles to next service” displayed.
Press and hold the mileage trip reset button on the speedo untill the display flashes, and then stays fixed. This can take a few seconds.
Renault Laguna 2 service light reset
With the ignition on, Press the end of the wiper stalk until miles to service appears on the dash screen.
Now, press and hold the mileage reset button on the instrument binnacle for more than 5 seconds, it will start to flash. Let go
This will reset your miles to service to the factorysetting and get rid of the flashing spanner !

Reset the service indicator light on Renault Megane Scenic 2005
If you mean the spanner symbol & message such as ‘change oil soon’ just scroll through your trip computer as you do when you zero your trip mileage when you fill up with petrol.
(press top button of right hand stalk).
Scroll through trip mileage/ averages etc until you get to the change oil message and then clear it the same way you clear your trip mileage by holding the button in until the message flashes & clears.
