2005-2010
Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
Press the INFORMATION and RESET buttons on the DIC at the same time to enter the personalization menu.
Press the INFORMATION button to scroll through the menu until OIL LIFE RESET is displayed.
Press and hold the RESET button until the DIC display shows ACKNOWLEDGED. This will tell you the system has been reset.
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
1989-1991
Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
Press ENG DATA until oil life index is displayed.
Press ENG DATA and RANGE simultaneously until oil life index resets to 100 (hold about 5 seconds).
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
1992-1993
Display the OIL LIFE INDEX by pressing the INFORMATION button.
Press and hold the STORE/RECALL button until the display shows 100.
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
1994-1996
Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
Press the INFORMATION button several times until OIL LIFE INDEX message appears.
Press and hold the RESET button until the display resets to 100.
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
1997-1998
Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
Press the INFO button on the DIC to view the DIC menu choices, stop on the XX% ENGINE OIL LIFE message.
Press and hold the INFO RESET button on the DIC until the display reads 100% ENGINE OIL LIFE.
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
1999
Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
Press the INFO button on the DIC to display the ENGINE OIL LIFE message.
Press and hold the INFO RESET button until the display shows 100% ENGINE OIL LIFE.
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
2000
Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
Press the INFO button on the DIC to display the ENGINE OIL LIFE message.
Press and hold the INFO RESET button until the display shows 100% ENGINE OIL LIFE.
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
Display the OIL LIFE INDEX by pressing the INFO button.
Press and hold the RESET button until the display shows 100% Engine Oil Life.
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

Press and hold the RESET button on the DIC switch for more than 5 seconds. The oil life will change to 100%.
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
1999
Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
Press the SKIP INFO button on the DIC control panel in order to display the OIL LIFE LEFT message.
Press and hold the INFO RESET button until the display shows 100% ENGINE OIL LIFE.
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
2000
Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
Press the TRIP button on the DIC to view various menu choices and stop on OIL LIFE REMAINING.
Press and hold the RESET button on the DIC switch for more than 5 seconds. The oil life will change to 99%.
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
2001-2002
Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
Display the OIL LIFE LEFT message by repeatedly pressing the SKIP INFO button.
Press the INFO RESET button until the display shows 100% ENGINE OIL LIFE.
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
2005-2010
Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
