Service oil reset Nissan Pathfinder

2006-2007
Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
When you turn the ignition key run, the system start-up warning is displayed on the screen. Read the the warning and select the OK key by pressing the ENTER button.
When the TRIP button is pressed, the following modes will display on the screen: Warning message (if any) TRIP1 > TRIP 2 > FUEL ECONOMY > MAINTENANCE > AUDIO OR OFF > TRIP 1
Select MAINTENANCE and then select the Engine Oil key using the joystick and press the ENTER button to display the screen to change the maintenance interval/RESET.
To return to the previous display after the MAINTENANCE NOTICE screen is displayed, press the BACK button.
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

2008-2010
Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
Press the INFO button and select the Maintenance Key using the NISSAN controller; the maintenance information will be displayed on the screen.
Select one of the Reminder (1 – 4) keys using the NISSAN controller and press the ENTER button to display the screen to change the maintenance interval.
To reset the reminder schedule (distance) to 0 mi (km), select the Reset Distance key using the NISSAN contoller.
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

2009-2010
Push the ignition switch to the ON position (do not start the engine). Use the ENTER switch and toggle the vehicle information display to show the SETTING screen. Use the NEXT switch to select
Use the NEXT switch to select MAINTENANCE, then confirm with ENTER switch to change to the oil maintenance menu (follow the insructions).
i) SETTING > MAINTENANCE > OIL > ENGINE OIL to set or reset the mileage for the engine oil change.
ii) SETTING > MAINTENANCE > FILTER > to set or reset the mileage for the engine oil filter.
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

Service oil reset Honda Accord

1982-1985
After completing the oil change, the maintenance lamp may be reset by inserting the ignition key into the appropriate slot on the instrument panel below the indicator lamp. The indicator will change to green.
1986-1991
Insert ignition key into slot below indicator flag at lower right corner of instrument cluster.
Push key in until indicator changes from red to green.
1992-1996
Insert ignition key into centre slot located on the front of the instrument cluster. When reset, the indicator changes to green.
1997-1999
With Reset Button on Instrument Panel:
Turn the ignition off.
Press the select switch and reset switch at the same time, turn the ignition switch to run (one position before starting).
Hold them for at least 10 seconds, until the indicator resets.
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
With Key Slot on Instrument Panel:
Reset the indicator by inserting the key in the slot and changing the indicator to green.
2000-2005
Turn off the engine.
Press and hold the SELECT/RESET button in the instrument panel. and turn the ignition switch ON (ii).
Hold the button for at least 10 seconds, until the indicator resets.
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
2006-2010
Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
Press the SELECT/RESET knob until the engine oil life indicator is displayed.
Press the SELECT/RESET knob for more than 10 seconds. The engine oil life indicator and the maintenance code(s) will blink.
Press the SELECT/RESET knob for more than 5 seconds. The maintenance items code(s) will disappear, and the engine oil life will reset to 100.
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

2005-2007
Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
Select this function from the SETUP control “PRESS RESET AT OIL CHANGE”.
Press RESET control to reset oil change.
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

Service oil reset Chevrolet Caprice

1994
Remove the instrument panel fuse box cover.
Turn the ignition to run (one click before starting).
Press the OIL RESET button for 5 seconds and the change oil lamp should go off.
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

1995-1996
Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
Immediately after Step 1 press and release the gas pedal 3 times within 5 seconds.
If CHANGE ENGINE OIL light does not go out, turn off the ignition and repeat steps 1-3.
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
