2009-2010

Manual Reset:
Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
Press and HOLD the trip-odometer button “0.0”.
Turn your key to run (one position before starting engine).
Release the trip-odometer button.
Push and release the Clock Minute Set Button “min”.
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

Service oil reset Mercedes Benz SLK – Class

1998-1999

Manual Reset:
Turn key in steering lock to position 2.
Within 4 seconds press button (1) left of speedometer twice.
The present status for days or distance displays, within 10 seconds turn key in steering lock to position O.
Press and hold button (1), while turning key in steering lock to position 2 again. The present status for days or distance displays once more.
Continue to hold button (1) for approximately 10 seconds until a signal sounds and the display shows 10 000 mils or 15 000km. Release button (1).

2000-2001

Manual Reset:
Switch ignition on and immediately press knob to left of speedometer twice within 4 seconds.
Present status for days or distance is now displayed. Within 10 seconds, turn key in steering wheel lock to position 0.
Press and hold button to the left of speedometer, while turning key in steering lock to position 2 again. The present status for days or distance is displayed again. Continue to hold button until you hear a signal (approximately 10 seconds).
Release button.
Service interval displays the reset interval.

2002-2004
Switch ignition on and immediately press knob to left of speedometer twice within 1 second.
Present status for days or distance is now displayed. Within 10 seconds, turn key in steering wheel lock to position 0.
Press and hold button to the left of speedometer, while turning key in steering lock to position 2 again. The present status for days or distance is displayed again. Continue to hold button until you hear a signal (approximately 10 seconds).
Release button.
Service interval displays the reset interval.

Press button (UP arrow) or (DOWN arrow) on the multifunction steering wheel until the FSS indicator with (Single Wrench) or (Double Wrench) and the service deadline appears in the multifunction display.
Press the reset knob for about 4 seconds. This message appears in the tachometer: “DO YOU WANT TO RESET SERVICE INTERVAL? CONFIRM BY USING RESET BUTTON”.
To confirm hold down the reset button until you hear a signal. The service indicator now displays the reset interval.
2004
Turn on the ignition (standard display of the control system appears).
Press button (UP arrow) or (DOWN arrow) on the multifunction steering wheel until the FSS indicator with (Single Wrench) or (Double Wrench) and the service deadline appears in the multifunction display.
Press the reset knob for about 4 seconds. This message appears in the tachometer: “SERVICE INTERVAL…RESET: R-BUTTON 3 SEC.”
To confirm hold down the reset button until you hear a signal. The service indicator now displays the reset interval.

1997-1999
