VW Crafter service reset Sitting in the drivers seat looking at the dash on the left hand side you have a M button and below it a 0 button these are the buttons you will need to use.
When i refer to the LCD this is the illuminated part in the middle that shows your mileage,service mileage and trip mileage.
Please read this fully first to get the jist of it as if you perform the actions too slow it wont work and you will have to start over.
1.Put on ignition
2.Wait for service mileage to revert to vehicle mileage
3.When it reverts to the vehicle mileage press and hold the 0 button until you hear a beep (can take up to 30 seconds)
4.As soon as you hear the beep press the M button repeatdly and you will see in the LCD display different reset’s the one you need to select is “reset 51” if you go past it just keep pressing the M button till it comes up again.
5.When the “reset 51” is displayed stop pressing the M button then press and hold the 0 button again until a number 2 is displayed in the LCD.
6.Release the 0 button and then press twice and it will say in the LCD reset done ,if it is not reset you will get a 30% power reduction after 2K miles

If the service is due on these vehicles, when the key is turned to position 2, one of the dashboard displays will show “Service INSP”, “INSP1” or “INSP2” for Fixed interval services, and “SERVICE OEL / OIL” for the Oil Service interval.
The oil service reset procedure is as follows:
Start with the ignition turned OFF
Press and hold the button on the right side of the display while turning the ignition on (position 2)
“Service OEL / OIL” should be displayed
Release the button on the right
Pull out the button on the left side of the display until the service prompt is cleared
The display should now read —
Release the button on the left
…then to access and reset the service information:
Push the button on the right briefly
“Service INSP” should show on the dash
Pull out the button on the left side of the display until the service prompt is cleared
The display should now read —
Release the button on the left
Turn off the ignition
Audi A2 (2000-2005), A3 (2000-2003), A6 2000 to 2004)
For Fixed Interval servicing, you can use the following procedure:
Start with the ignition turned OFF
Press and hold the button on the right side of the display while turning the ignition on (position 2)
“SERVICE IN xxx Miles / Kilometres” or “SERVICE !” should be displayed on the dashboard
Release the button on the right
To reset on the existing service schedule, press and hold the button on the left side of the display until the NEW distance or time value appears
Release the button on the left
Turn off the ignition
Audi A3 (2003-2009)
For Fixed Interval servicing, you can use the following procedure:
Start with the ignition turned ON (position 2), but with the engine OFF
Pull out and hold the button on the right side of the display until “SERVICE” appears on the display
Release the button on the right, then within 5 seconds pull the button out and hold it again
Release the button when the display shows “- – -” or “SERVICE IN xxxx Miles / Kilometres, xxxx days”
Turn off the ignition
