Hot to reset service light on a Seat Inca
Try this.
Switch on the ignition.
Press the left hand button on the clocks and hold it in while switching off the ignition.
Release the button and you should be able to toggle between the oil, insp1 and insp2 indicators.
Choose the one you want to reset.
On the right hand side of the clocks there is two buttons.
Press and hold the bottom button with a biro and hold it until the display is reset.
The real repair is to have the vehicle serviced by a Bentley dealer. The other option is as follows…
Press and hold the trip button
While doing this, turn the ignition key into the on position
Let go of both, and you will see the words “service reset” on the drivers instrument panel screen
Now press the silver knurled roller switch “OK” on the right side of the steering wheel controls, by the menu button. This will confirm the request.
With the ignition key off, press and hold the trip button
while doing this, turn the ignition key to the on position
The driver’s instrument panel screen will now read “service reset.”
Now press the silver knurled knob on the right side of the steering wheel controls, this will confirm the operation.
The reset button is located on the bottom right hand side of the Rev counter on the instrument cluster.
Switch ignition on.
Press reset button until “spanner “ symbol flashes.
Keep button depressed until “spanner” symbol stops flashing and remains illuminated.
Indicator shows appropriate service interval.
Release reset button.
Switch ignition off.
Some vehicles are fitted with a ‘SERV’ lamp – this is not a service interval indicator lamp, it is a malfunction indicator lamp (MIL).
