Service oil reset Cadillac Escalade

2002-2006

Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
Immediately after Step 1 press and release the gas pedal 3 times within 5 seconds.
If the CHANGE OIL SOON indicator flashes, the system is reset (if this does not happen, repeat steps).
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

2007-2010

Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
Display the OIL LIFE REMAINING on the DIC.
Press and hold the SET/RESET button on the DIC for more than 5 seconds. The oil life will change to 100%.
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
