Manual Reset:
Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
Press and HOLD the trip-odometer button “0.0”.
Turn your key to run (one position before starting engine).
Release the trip-odometer button.
Push and release the Clock Minute Set Button “min”.
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
Perfect it worked! User manual was all wrong. Mentioned pushing buttons my car doesn’t even have!
Didn’t work for my 2009 tiguan s trim
What worked for me was to hold the 0.0 button and release it until you turn the car on, then you push both the H and Min buttons, turn off car remove key, viola.
